About Course

In this course, students will learn advanced Tajweed rules, including the rules of rhythm (waqf), tafkheem and tarqeeq, and ahkam al-tajweed (etiquettes of Tajweed). Students will also have the opportunity to practice applying these rules in their Quran recitation.

This course is designed for students who have a basic understanding of Tajweed and who are interested in improving their Quran recitation. It is also a good choice for students who are preparing to become Quran teachers.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Apply advanced Tajweed rules to their Quran recitation
  • Understand the meaning and importance of waqf, tafkheem, tarqeeq, and ahkam al-tajweed
  • Identify and correct common mistakes in Quran recitation
  • Teach others the advanced rules of Tajweed
